Versatile EDD
Electronic Document Discovery (EDD) is a fairly new development in the world of litigation support. While other companies use standard, off-the-shelf programs to conduct EDD processing, we at World have developed our own software program called VersiDoc, which can be fine-tuned to meet our customers needs.
VersiDoc system stores data in a relational database management system, allowing for the development of queries that help cull the document population down to the ones that are most useful to you. Our EDD searches can assist your legal team with:
- Review Prioritization — search criteria can be used to identify potentially hot documents as well as those that are unlikely to be relevant to the case.
- Identification of Privileged/Confidential Documents — these documents can be removed out of the active document population and submitted for native document review; clients need not incur the cost of Tiffing documents that will never be produced.
The key benefit to a home grown system like VersiDoc, is that we do not have to rely on someone else’s development schedule to address your project specific needs.
